7. What is the manufacturing process of STANDARD Masterbatch?
The common process is: the color powder, additives and raw material resin are pre-dispersed → different mixing methods → twin-screw → underwater strip → cutting granules produced. Usually called ”Water Strand Pelletizing”
There is another kind of process, is not after the underwater strip, masterbatch through the twin-screw, after the die head, directly cut into particles, the industry is usually referred to as “Underwater Pelletizing”.
