Silver masterbatch is a product obtained by using carrier resin and aluminum-silver powder as raw materials, and it is usually better to add some dispersants to extrude granulation. The carrier resins that can be made are PE, PP, PBAT, PA6, PLA, TPU, etc.
Aluminum-silver powder is a metallic material. It is made by mixing two metal particles, aluminum and silver, which has good reflective properties and is able to refract light, giving the object a shiny silvery-white color.
Using aluminum-silver masterbatch as a method of part color matching and overall color mixing can achieve better results in color effect and visual effect, and can increase the preciousness and ornamentality of plastic products.
Silver masterbatches are widely used in many fields of people's daily life, including injection molding spray-free products, automotive parts, electric appliance and other products, various blown films, agricultural films, degradable films, pipes and other plastic products.

Most antibacterial agents are added in very small amounts (usually under 1–3%).
If the antibacterial powder is transparent or white, the impact on the surface gloss is minimal.
The key points are:
Dispersion must be uniform.
If the antibacterial agent clumps in one spot, it can cause dull areas or color shift.
The carrier resin needs to match both the antibacterial agent and the metallic pigment.
This keeps the melt flow stable so your final part still looks smooth and shiny.
High-quality formulations control particle size well, so the antibacterial agent doesn't "block" the metallic shine.
In short: with proper formulation and processing, the silver gloss basically won't drop in any noticeable way.
But, if the processing temperature is too high, some antibacterial additives may start to degrade, and then the antibacterial effect will weaken.
1 If the product only needs high gloss, then the regular silver masterbatch is the best choice.
2 If the product has hygiene or skin-contact requirements (medical, food, baby-care), then the silver antibacterial masterbatch is more suitable.

Due to the certain differences in the properties of resin and aluminum-silver powder, it is not easy for them to combine in some aspects. By improving the formulation and production process, Standard Ploymer gradually discovered new ways to mix carrier resins and aluminum-silver powders. Aluminium-silver powders are surface treated to improve their compatibility and adhesion. Through chemical treatment, they are easier to bind and remain stably dispersed in plastic products without odor.
