UV masterbatch is mainly produced by antioxidants, light stabilizers (HALS), UV absorbers, and carrier resins. The formula of master batch UV is different according to different products and different UV test standards.
① When plastic products are used outdoors, oxygen aging will occur, and polymers will undergo auto-oxidation reactions, which will accelerate the aging of plastic products, so antioxidants are usually added to the formula.
② Light stabilizer: effectively inhibits the damage of ultraviolet rays to polymer chains and prolongs the service life of products.
③UV absorber: selectively absorbs ultraviolet rays (290-400nm), converts them into harmless heat energy, and reduces the breakage of plastic molecular chains.

The molecular structure of polymer materials is one of the inherent reasons for their aging. Specifically, cross-linking may occur between polymer chains, making them hard, brittle, and losing elasticity; so aging is a common phenomenon in polymer materials.
After long-term aging under temperature, humidity, optical fiber, etc., plastic products mainly have the following changes:
