Non-woven fabric is a kind of fiber with directional or random arrangement, which can be single-layer or up to 7 layers (spunbond nonwoven, melt blown nonwoven), and is made by physical methods such as friction, bonding, and hot pressing. Nonwoven fabric does not require spinning and weaving processes, so it is also called "non-woven fabric".
At present, the main raw material of non woven fabric is polypropylene (PP), but it is not limited to this. Synthetic fibers such as polyester (PET) and nylon (PA) are also widely used. In addition, there are natural fiber raw materials such as cotton, linen, wool, and silk, which give non-woven fabrics more abundant performance options.
Non-woven cloth have good air permeability and lightness. They can be used alone or thermally laminated with materials such as PE film to make functional composite fabrics. In addition, it can also be directly coated to enhance waterproof and strength properties.
Non-woven fabrics are widely used and can be seen everywhere in our daily lives, such as medical and health products (such as masks, protective clothing,non woven bag), agricultural covering materials, packaging materials, filter materials, etc. Non-woven fabrics have high cost performance and environmental protection characteristics, and have broad market prospects.
So, how are these rich colors achieved? The answer lies in the addition of nonwoven masterbatch. By accurately proportioning and incorporating masterbatch into the raw materials, a variety of bright and stable colors can be easily formulated.
The application of nonwoven masterbatch is very flexible:
◎It can be added to the meltblown layer to achieve the integration of functionality (such as filtration, antibacterial) and color;
◎It can also be added to the spunbond layer to give the substrate a uniform color;
◎It can also be combined with masterbatches of different colors through a multi-layer composite process to create a unique gradient or double-sided effect.
This technology not only meets the diverse aesthetic needs, but also maintains the lightness and breathability of nonwovens.
But spunlace nonwoven do not need color masterbatch.
